Overwatch’s lead writer Michael Chu participated in an AMA on the Overwatch subreddit just the other day, much like Jeff Kaplan has done previously. We’ve mentioned Michael on this channel numerous times before though as he’s effectively the keeper and creator of all things lore in Overwatch, so we'll be taking a close look over what he had to say.
Throughout the event Chu touched on a wide variety of topics, including a bunch of questions about getting into the games industry or where he takes inspiration from, but for obvious reasons I’ll be focusing on the lore topics above all else.
In this vid we're looking at the potential for future animations, what characters most need lore, the nature of Omnicode, what story threads we can expect to see getting finished off and a whole bunch more!
